I’m Still Going to Blame the Crowds and Lines

“Men don’t hate fashion, they just hate shopping the way it’s designed for women,” said Ben Lerer, founder of Thrillist, which gives men tips for activities or products and then sells them. “The young generation of guys love to shop, they love to talk about the brands they like and they really care about how they look.”

Here’s a mansplanation of man-shopping, if you’re interested. But, actually, the reason why I don’t like to go shopping is: crowds, lines for dressing rooms and cash registers, and spending money I probably shouldn’t be spending—which are probably the same reasons why there are women who don’t like to shop either, but I’ll stop here before I start mansplaining the mansplanation.
